The Pillar Collection, designed by Huw Evans for The Conran Shop, takes inspiration from the architectural fluting observed in ancient Greek Doric columns. The series brings undulating curves to door and drawer fronts across a versatile range of storage options. With four tones to choose from — Ochre, Stone, Navy and Lichen — each piece is set on a solid hardwood plinth with matching drawer interiors. Evans’ work combines materials with a diverse heritage of processes, aiming to enhance not only the material itself but also to accentuate the intricacies of the crafting methods involved.
