Care Instructions

When burning your scented candle for the first time, we recommend allowing it to burn for 2-3 hours, until the top layer of the candle is liquid wax. This will encourage the candle to burn more evenly. After the first burn, we recommend not letting the candle burn for longer than 3 hours at a time.

We recommend using a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame. This will stop ash or smoke from contaminating the wax.

Trimming the wick to 3-5mm will help the candle to burn for longer, avoid the wick releasing black smoke, and stop the wick from falling into the liquid wax.

After burning we recommend re-centering the wick to ensure even burning and to stop the vessel from overheating. The flame or wick should not touch the glass.

The candle should not be burned once the wick tripod is visible, or there is only 5-10mm of wax left in the vessel.

Burn in a draft-free area to avoid uneven burning.

Place on a flat, heat-resistant and non-flammable surface.

Avoid placing candles on cold surfaces, such as marble or glass. When hot, the candle might cause the surface to crack,
