Specification
The Re-engineered Brown Betty by Ian McIntyre features a non-drip spout, locking lid and perforated grid behind the spout to catch tea leaves when pouring loose-leaf tea. The traditional Rockingham glaze has been preserved, helping to conceal tea stains, while the stackable form allows them to be stored together and makes the teapot suitable for catering environments. Available in a new 2-cup version alongside the classic 4-cup.
Developed through a seven-year study of the Brown Betty, Ian McIntyre has reintroduced lost original features, including details from patents dating to the 1920s, alongside new functional improvements.

Care Instructions:
Suitable for use in a dishwasher.
To prolong the lifespan of ceramics we recommend handwashing using a soft cloth or sponge and mild dish soap. Dry pieces thoroughly after washing using a soft towel.
If using a dishwasher, we recommend using a low-temperature cycle and taking care not to overstack, ensuring there is space between the pieces, and there are no sharp objects that could scratch or chip the surface.
Suitable for use in a microwave, freezer, or oven up to 210c.
Abrasive sponges, scourers, or products should not be used.
If a piece of ceramic shows any sign of damage such as a crack or chip, we recommend to stop using it as damaged ceramics can suddenly fail and cause injury.
