Our Contrast Wiggle Vase has been specially crafted from cape clay in South Africa and is characterised by it's straight sides and gently rounded top.

The playful wiggle lines which run up and down the length of the vase are formed from the negative space created using a wax resist technique, where wax is applied before a colourful glaze and then removed to reveal the natural colour of the clay beneath. A warm apricot glaze covers the rest of the exterior surface. 

This vase is part of our Serenity trend for Spring/Summer 24. Drawing influence from the raw aesthetic of L’Étoile des Baux by interior designer Josephine Fossey this trend aims to bring a refreshing simplicity to contemporary home accessories, creating a sense of quiet catharsis, release and escape.  For this collection our in-house designers have looked toward naturally occurring patterns in landscapes and the contrast between soft and rounded surfaces against raw, uneven textures. Earthy neutrals and tones of green are grounded by deep brown and punctuated with chartreuse, teal and coral.

Care Instructions

Handwash only using a soft cloth or sponge, lukewarm water and mild dish soap.

Abrasive sponges, scourers, or products should not be used.

If a piece of ceramics shows any sign of damage such as a crack or chip, we recommend to stop using it as damaged ceramics can suddenly fail and cause injury.
